Powerex Limited warrants Vectronic^® products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under the conditions of normal use. The warranty period for each product range is as stated below. Powerex Limited guarantees the proper operation of Vectronic^® products when used in accordance with the operating manual and within the limits of performance specifications.


Duration of Warranty

This warranty applies to the following Vectronic^® product models respectively, for all distributors and end users, valid from the purchase date duly evidenced by invoice or receipt, for all products sourced through authorized or proper channels:

• Vectronic Line-interactive UPS    – 24 months
  • EG 650-3000VA
  • DG 600-3000VA
     
• Vectronic Online UPS, 1ph                        – 18 months
  • FS 1-20kVA
  • FS-R 1-20kVA
  • FS-V 1-20kVA
  • C-V 2-10kVA

• Vectronic Online UPS, 3ph            – 18 months
  • C-V 10-600kVA
• Vectronic AVR                                 – 24 months
  • 1-phase 5-30kVA
  • 3-phase 10-5000kVA

Limitations of Warranty

1. This Warranty is limited to repairs or replacement of product in the event of fault, defect or malfunction under normal conditions of use, at no charge, for warranty parts, components, spares, labour, services, or replacement units in part or whole, at designated Vectronic^® Warranty Centre(s) or Authorized Affiliate Service Locations, provided that repairs or replacement decision is at the discretion of Powerex Limited. Any parts used or replaced under this warranty may be new, factory re-conditioned or workshop certified.

2. Irrespective of warranty product repairs or replacement in part or whole at the discretion of Powerex Limited, the original warranty period shall apply; warranty service shall not extend the original warranty period in any way.

3. Powerex Limited shall make good warranty product defect or fault without any liability for consequential or third-party loss or damage from product fault or downtime to supported load, operations, processes or systems. For the avoidance of doubt, liability is limited only to Vectronic product; to repair, restore or replace.

Limitations and Exclusions

1. This Limited Warranty does not cover faults arising from negligence, abuse, misuse, improper storage, poor installation, user modifications or unapproved testing. Also, warranty does not cover unauthorized repairs or attempts to repair or improvise; operation with wrong input supply parameters; or unacceptable, deplorable, or corrosive site ambient conditions. Furthermore, installation, operation or commissioning by unqualified or unauthorized service personnel may imperil warranty, just as sabotage, accidental or wilful damage, fire, inferior or compromised external accessories, failure to adhere to approved local electrical codes, or any use outside the intended, specified or recommended applications.
    
2. Warranty applies to the purchaser and neither extends nor is transferable to other parties directly or indirectly.
    
3. For UPS products, extended storage periods after purchase without occasional charge may compromise the battery. It is the responsibility of user or purchaser to connect their UPS to mains periodically, preferably quarterly, if in storage for several months without use, to avoid voiding warranty.
    
4. This Limited Warranty excludes fault or damage from fair wear and tear on product parts or components that normally degrade with regular or heavy use, like UPS battery, AVR brush / contact assembly, and such parts.
    
5. Traceability is crucial to establishing genuineness of warranty claims. A claim under warranty must therefore be for a product with clear, unaltered product label indicating the Serial Number, Model and Capacity, accompanied with proof of purchase indicating date and seller or distributor to avoid delays.
    
6. Warranty applies ONLY to Vectronic products fully paid for by claimant(s).
    
7. The right to modify or vary the terms of this Limited Warranty is vested only in Powerex Limited. No variation to these terms is valid except in writing, and duly executed by authorized representative(s).

1. On-site Warranty Service is available subject to pre-agreed terms
2. Extended Warranty period available up to 5 years, or more
3. Other warranty and support flexibilities available on request
